A mock fire drill was conducted today at our Coimbatore Campus to educate students and teachers on fire-fighting techniques and emergency response. Experts from the Department of Fire and Rescue Services demonstrated the use of fire safety equipment, providing valuable insights into life-saving and rescue techniques. They also explained the different classes of fire and the appropriate responses for each type.
In addition to fire safety, the personnel shared information about other services offered by the department, including conducting rescue operations, educating the public on fire safety measures, inspecting premises for fire safety compliance, and even rescuing animals in need. This drill aimed to enhance awareness and preparedness among students and staff for fire-related emergencies.
